An American kid grows up to be very intelligent: gifted in languages, martial arts, and all kinds of weaponry. He’s had to fight to grow up, and despite the rough time he’s had, he loves his country...so when hard times hit, he joins the Army.

Several things go wrong in basic training, but his talents don’t escape notice. Physically broken and thinking he’s going home in dishonor, he is shocked when he is offered an alternative: if he is willing to give up everything, he has a chance to become one of seven rogues. He accepts, and his life is changed forever.

The rogues are the invisible multitool of the American military. Each is a soldier, spy, assassin, and special forces operator rolled into one. They are elite and unacknowledged among the world’s warriors. Cold death on two feet.
